Little Wins
Hi
Windows 7 again and sorry. I have this limited hard drive that got set
up with the new installation and so I just can't put anything of any
size in there. Warcraft is 40GB and StarCraft II 30 GB... anyway the
nice people at Blizzard let me put the software on another drive and
that works a peach. Took close on two days to download and update but
both are working now.
I also have been trying to get my FLV editor working again. Not really
sure why Flash ( ah ahaaaaa ) has become so complex. I have the thing
running on a none internet connected machine and works fine. But in the
latest Firefox browser and the current Flash it just wont work. I can't
even get the software to run from a simple click. Pointless anyway. And
so to the rescue Avidemux 2.6. What a wonderful piece of free software.
The one benefit of the latest HTML is that you can run MP4s from a
single line of text and its that simple. Just have to convert all my
FLVs to MP4. Easy peasy with Avidemux. Just set the thing to Mpeg AVC
(x264) - AC (lav) - MP4 Muxer and your away. You can edit the videos etc
and change their length and APPEND if you want to join and even change
the music. Very simple and easy to use.
I would downlaod Hamster but it does like to take over from Media Player
and that's a no no.
So I have my Windows 7 machine nearly back to where I was two weeks ago.
Just wish I could get the mailer working plus a neat little video
titling bit of sofware.

Back to my Amiga tower and the dicky display issue... Hmmmm.
