In memory of Colin
Hi
I have mentioned Colin before. After years of communicating together
Colin gave me his entire Amiga collection. This included no less than
three Amiga 1000s boxed plus two A4000s and two A3000s. Anyway, I sense
time was short for Colin though we never talked about it. Thing is even
now his memory lives on because in every single item he gave me there
are instructions on how to use it. He even attached labels to every
cable telling me just what it was for and warning of any issues.
If you are still with us Colin I really do appreciate all that you did
for me. As was proved tonight when discussing the KCS PowerPC board I
was able to simply quote his guide notes to me.
What was funny was there was this guy on EAB perplexed why his name was
written on my guide for SIMCity the original. It even gave his house
number and full address. The book was Colin's and on the back he had
written a few names plus tags from his bulletin board days I presume.
One of which was this guy Aaron... who has a stonking demo site. I sent
him the ' Loadsamoney ' demo last year if you recall.
Thanks Colin... where ever you are. Saved my life again. You will
always be a hero to me.
