Driller Killer
Hi
Well not exactly a driller killer more of a driller liver er er...
Whatever. Anyroadup I think it was Paul H who suggested the handy
driller tool for removing those nasty screws. And they really work. Just
pop in the suitable size drill and drill in reverse. Then flip over the
tool to the Christmas Tree shaped head and repeat and the screw came
straight out super faaaaaaaaaaaaaast. Unbelievable.
So I removed keyboard and shielding from A3010 and got to the battery.
Not too bad in truth , though the case was taking more of a hammering
than the motherboard. So I set too cleaning up and am now waiting for
the thing to dry off.
There are some very strange wires running around the motherboard and a
3mb ram riser which is alien to the machine. I don't have much
confidence that matters will improve when I reconnect and screw the case
back together. However I have stopped the rot and maybe in another time
someone may have better luck
