Rubber band man

Hi

That was a bit funny. And I'm not talking about the bloody great stag
beetle lurking behind the grass mower. Annoying things...
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stag_beetle. Like banging into the windows
at night... Anyway I returned to the Amstrad having mowed my football
pitch... feels like that.. switched on and kept getting an annoying
error on boot. I was so dismayed having had all my success earlier. I
changed disk and same problem. It was then that I lifted the keyboard
and saw the external floppy blinking with a copy of Amiga's SysInfo
inside.. whoops. I removed the 3.5" disk and then the machine booted
straight in. I had forgotten I had tried to format a floppy but
couldn't. The keyboard I nabbed isn't the correct set up for this
machine and doesn't have the function keys to the left hand side.

For good measure I booted again and again and again... and like magic
she booted into CP/M and Locoscript2. Classic. All green across the
screen literally.

These computers were incredibly popular with architects practices. They
were just so easy to use. The printing was wonderful and great for an
economy computer when machines of a similar ability cost a fortune. The
PCWs did just what they were sold to do.. word process. I know I
couldn't have survived without mine.

Good day so far.. read on.
