Not more rubber bands

Well done Andrew !!!!

I broke out the cotton buds and decided to give the XC12 a thorough
clean. This was the cassette player I fixed the other month. I scrubbed
the heads and rubber wheels. I then cracked open a mint in cellophane
Maxell cassette... hmmm the sweet sound of opening that thin plastic
wrapping. Those were the days. And so I set too recording a small program.

All recorded well . I recorded six times with the CSAVE function and
twice with the conventional SAVE function

I am happy to report that each and every one of them recorded and played
back perfectly without fault. I just couldn't believe it. I would have
sworn there was noise in the system causing the failure. And the data
disk I was using hadn't been used before but it was old and not
purchased originally by me. What is more wonderful is that the XC12
needs no additional power supply. Magic.

Well done Andrew. I wouldn't have tried another blank tape, but sitting
there having 'me tea I reflected on your thoughts. And now 'me tea has
gone cold. Who cares. I'm in Atari heaven. Great machines.. 'wunt have a
wurd sed agen 'em. Eey up I've gone all northern. What's that about.

Happy as a pig in muck as me mum would say.
