Thanks for finding that I have never been able to find it myself. I am 
slowly translating from the German. My card has the riser below and then 
two chips sitting one on top of the other with a piece of sponge black 
Velcro stuck to the top. I had no idea how this card would have fit in 
the C64 but I see they put a spacer on the main body case

This project deals with the reproduction of the '4x4 extension' for the 
C64 from c't Magazine issue 6 of 1987, page 94, article "Aufgemacht: C64 
with 4 MHz clock and 16-bit CPU" by the authors Michael Flamm and Rene 
Schneider.

This is a performance-enhancing extension for the C64, which must be 
installed in the C64. The original 6510 processor is taken out and 
replaced by a 15x15cm board with a 65816 processor and 256Kbyte 
additional RAM and lots of other logic ICs. To be 100% downwards 
compatible, you can switch off everything by software. There is also the 
base for the 6510 on the board, it will be active and everything else 
will be deactivated.
