ScuzzBlog: Diaries June 2017 Entry 25th June 2017: Post: 7 The old freezer trick Update. I took five broken 2.5" hard drives and placed them in separate sealed plastic waterproof bags and then placed these into the freezer cabinet of the fridge. Some seven hours later and very cold drives I plugged in to a working Amiga 1200 and tested each drive in turn. Did it work. Did it **ck. Next week read on as I attach the drives to the front of a ten ton truck and power drive them into a brick wall. Worth a shot I guess. scuzz
