Atari Falcon
Hi
My goodness, there is an Atari Falcon for sale on Ebay mint
in original box... looks mint. All working, currently 27 bids
and standing at £626. I paid £350 for mine and not in box so
at that price sounds about right. The reserve has not been met
so this guy wants £750 for this baby. Probably get over that
I would think given how rare these are. Personally I think
this machine is rubbish compared to the Amiga. The graphical
interface of the Atari was just so poor. The word that comes
to mind is boring. Second worst only I guess to Apple and the
Mac. [ yawn ]
There was a nice Amiga 4000 on the Bay last week. Think it went
for £500. Only an 030 but great all the same.
Today retro words are ‘ dust cover ‘. I doubt anyone still uses
them. Yet today having finished my work on my 1200s I placed the
clear plastic covers over both 1200s. Just that I watched a video
on YouTube with a guy using a floppy drive and all the comments
were like ‘ Hey dude. Been years since I heard what one of them
sound like ‘. I doubt they would even be able to get their heads
round dust covers. I have a full set of covers for my PET. Even
has the word PET on the dust cover . More like a tent than a cover.
My mouse even has his own house fixed to the side of the Checkmate
monitor. And the monitor is thicker than one inch. Seriously...
‘ Get the **ck out of here ‘. I wish I could have a pound for every
time I watch a YouTube video and it starts ‘ Hey guys .... blah blah blah ‘
