KCS and the Sunshine Band
Hi
Its sunny and bright and I was furthering my research on the KCS PowerPC
Board and I was struck by KC and The Sunshine Bands ... Get Down Tonight
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LHEsE9yN2CY
[ Do a little dance .. Make a little noise.. Get down tonight ]
Which actually features in the Big Bang Theory when Amy takes Leonard to
a wedding and tries to get him to dance.
Anyway I was digging out all I had on this board and uncovered no less
than four of them all still in their original plastic seals and brand
new by the look of it. There is such a lot of documentation with the
board together with this MSDOS big box of 4.1 with the KCS sticker on
the outside. Many of the disks are labelled pre release so not sure if
the owner wasn't testing the board. The Checkmate has a error drive on
the Workbench for the KCS drive which suggests it was once on the
machine. I checked with the disk but it found no hardware on the Amiga.
I may check out one of the cards which are all V4.5 for the Amiga 500-Plus.

From the Big Book
A PC Emulator for the Amiga 500+ which plugs into the trapdoor slot. In
addition to the 1MB of memory installed the card, PC programs can also
make use of any additional memory assigned to it from the Amiga's own
memory. When the emulated PC is not in use, the on board 1MB of RAM can
be assigned for use by the Amiga. The card also has support for using
hard disks, floppy drives, the serial port and joystick/mouse ports in
PC mode.
