And today I am mostly

I now have a fully working version of Workbench from the Checkmate
running on an A500Plus with the 2.0Rom and an external GVP sidecar. This
means that if the 590 flips out on the Checkmate I can now simply slide
in the GVP to take its place. I can then mend the 590 install remotely.
I am now copying the contents of the DH1 SCSI drive to the GVP and will
then set about repairing the installation. Given that this will now be
on the GVP it will make the SCSI drive on the Checkmate redundant. Gives
me the opportunity to make sure I have official copies of software. If
not I add to me Ebay searches and make sure over time they find their
way into the collection.
Last thing I will do is put the whole disk contents onto a ZIP drive and
copy again to CD. As I normally do.
Did you know that MultiCX is SHAREWARE. Have I already registered.
Never. I guess I ought to find out what this is. I have the message pop
up on the 500 upstairs with an A590.
