I will let you in on a bit of a secret, I was able to format the drive but could only use 1.3. When I tried to install 2.0 the drive just kept throwing up errors and fell over and so I had to keep reverting back to 1.3. Had forgotten about setting the ToolType. My bad. Something to play with tomorrow. Thanks for that. scuzz
