Bit of a dust up

Dave

What is happening is that the 2000 works fine when switched on but after
a short while she will reboot herself and sometimes then fail to boot. I
have to let the computer cool down to get working. The screw that holds
the GVP in place appears a little high as when I detached it rocked
lower on the connector and the computer booted in straight away.

When you say clamp and chip and pin have you any idea whereabouts and
what should I look for. Is the chip under the floppy tray cus I haven't
been under there. Don't recall anything on the main board itself and I
did give the whole board a very good clean. I removed the Bridgeboard
completely.

I do get the green screen by the way. That I can confirm.

All help appreciated. I hate to see her struggling like this.
