Down the rabbit hole
Hi Paul
Ripped them to what ? Scuse my ignorance.
I assume you have everything on a hard drive somewhere. I have to say I
did have all my music on this hard drive but when it fell over it was
lost. The Walkman still has all the music on there but in truth I don't
listen too much these days. Like Andrew I watch YouTube, much quicker.
I copy stuff to DvD so I can use on the Amiga. Mostly funny clips and
stuff. Plus the odd classic music video from long time past. I have it
all catalogued. I can also convert the VOB files from the SONY to mp4
and then have more fun. Having the DvD just helps me as I really have no
idea which machine it will finish up on.
By the way I also have all the DvDs copied to a large hard drive here,
though to be honest it is rarely plugged in these days. And the DvD
player has a very large hard drive also so I keep a healthy batch on
there. I don't really copy films and such.. just short bits of things
off the Videos from the days when I use to be connected to the network
and Sky. I haven't watched terrestrial network TV since around 1997 and
I got rid of Sky back in 2008 if I recall. I only watch DvDs and Video.
I could watch TV on the computer but its boring as **ck and life is way
to short to be honest. I am proud to say to this day I still have never
watched an episode of Eastenders, so I have no idea what Dirty Den is
doing these days.
