Hot today
Hi
A pretty obvious statement but the house warms up on the first floor so
I retire to the retro lounge and have some fun. Today I have mostly been
playing with the Acorn Electron and the Acorn Plus 1
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Acorn_Electron
This basically is an expansion unit you connect to the back of the
Electron to give it more oomph!!
' The Acorn Plus 1 added two ROM cartridge slots, an analogue interface
(supporting two channels) and a Centronics parallel port. The analogue
interface was normally used for joysticks, the parallel for a printer.
The ROM slots could be booted from via the "Shift+BREAK"
key-combination. (The slot at the front of the interface took priority
if both were populated).'

Worked all as described. Pretty boring really.
Next up I have been trying to find a power supply for my Sam Coupe....
This guy has a power supply. Sadly I don't. Hmmm !!

Finally, lost a big box of Amiga Computing magazines. The original
numbers. I know I have them somewhere. I collected them from a guy in
Southampton who lived opposite the Ordnance Survey offices. Remember the
night very well. I do like the older versions of Amiga Computing ,
especially with the big Amiga 'tick' on the cover. I'll keep looking.
Amazing what I misplace.
I have all these somewhere.....
