Battery Warning

My A500 is very prescious to me. During the last month
the keyboard went walkies and I decided to simply swap out
the motherboard. I also took the opportunity to replace
the keyboard. The whole process took about an hour and
certainly was worth the effort. And now my favourite
A500 with its GVP sidecar are running just fine...

Point of note is the varying ribbon. One is an actual multi
coloured ribbon. The other just a series of coloured wires.
Also not how dusty the inside of the 500 has got over
the many years of use.

If you have an A500 in store then you probably
won't need to worry too much about leaking batteries
Except that the card in the trapdoor may have a battery
like the one I found in this A501 silver cheese
So do check all the same...

A500's

I managed to add no less than four A500's
to the collection this month. Three are shown
above. Many of these were fitted with some
quite strange cards. Check out the new gallery
dedicated to the A500's cards

So you`ve bought an A500

Fancy firing up some classic Amiga games ?
