Up and ATOM

I have kinda accepted now with the very old kit there is going to be
very little I can do to keep them working. The Spectrum has to be the
worst. They pretty well all have issues and or are busted. Its so sad
but hey I still have the memories and as long as one chugs along then
that's OK.
The Atom has never been used here so I have no idea what state it was in
when it arrived. Eventually and beyond my time, there may be enough
there for someone to get the hardware working again. In truth all the
machines of this era give the same kinda readout... A flashing cursor. I
have a lot of machines that I have never ever switched on.. The MSX
stuff, Enterprise, Osborn, The C64 in the metal case plus the Games
System for the C64. Too many in truth. I am starting to look at them as
just collectors items that never get taken out of the boxes. I could do
more harm than good mucking around. Again, that I leave to future
generations.
