Imagine Dragons
Hi Paul
The practice submitted a bid for the architectural and project
management services to refurbish Bletchley. I was so disappointed when
we were not successful. Imagine that as your daily project. Ar hum !!
I had thought those rare machines were actually white. I have a picture
and an article of it being white. The article was published just before
the company went pop. Such a shame really.
I did receive a note of interest from one of the museums who were
interested in me discussing with them what I do with the collection when
I expire. Wasn't Bletchley... I'll have to dig out the email. There
really is so much of this stuff around there are hardly any real rare
items to be truthful. When I watch vids on YouTube most have in their
collections the kind of things I have. Just junk in truth so probably
all be scrapped in the end. If everything was mint, boxed and with books
and media then I could see someone wanting the kit. But as used and
devoid very often of packaging etc it really isn't that important to go
in a museum. The kit at Bletchley is staggeringly important and well
preserved. Great place. It really is on a wholly different level.
