Demon card game
Hi
Was de-crunching Amiga Action Disk 3 May 1995 for Sensible Massacre 2
when I came across a neat little game called Demon. Labelled ' Majestic
and magical card game treat. Yes '. I have a feeling this is the very
first version of Klondike the now famous card game for the Amiga.
' Demon was written by Peter Wiseman in a desperate attempt to boost his
feeble giros and relieve the boredom doing the obligatory stretch of
unemployment after his long hard slog at university. '
The game is Version 1.01 and makes reference to Klondike. It is in very
much the same format allowing the user to create their very own card
sets and to install them into the game. It is smaller in size than the
Klondike I have but very much the same game. I do like the way the
creator has taken out the time to fully explain how to create your own
game cards. I have to say I spent way too much time playing Klondike on
my Amiga. I also purchased several of the card sets from PD houses of
the day.
I will do some further checking. I guess as I have now copied the disk
from Amiga Action and played the game I should send the guy some money.
