ScuzzBlog: Diaries June 2023 Entry 9th June 2023: Post 1: Thomas the Tank Engine - Fun With Words. Thomas the Tank Engine - Fun With Words. Even more fun with Thomas the Tank Engine arrived today. Is there no end to this puffing engine's train applications for the Amiga. Whilst this is educational software and not a game the software Fun With Words shows the breadth of user audience that were using the Amiga in the day. Aimed at kids up to the age of seven the interface is easy enough, and simply you use Thomas to spell and learn how to spell words. At first I thought I was missing the manual until I discovered that all the instructions for using the software is printed on the actual disk. It really is that simple to use. Produced by William Heinmann Ltd in 1990 and based on the Railway Series by Rev W Awdry. Not sure if there were any more in the collection. Just need to keep my eye open. I did do a quick check to see if the software was working and sure enough it was fine. Thomas the Tank Engine - Fun With Words.
