Sanyo MBC 555 - There is a monitor ?

I was reading an old old old blog of mine from 2006 and discovered
in an entry regarding the Sanyo MBC 550 that the computer came
with a monitor. You gotta be kidding me. This computer has been
illuding detection for over a decade and I still haven't been able
to track it down to take pictures. And now I find out it came with
a monitor. No way !!

This was an entry for December 2nd 2006.

I have been very close at times to extracting the Sanyo from storage
just to pack everything away and forget to do so. The machine sits
behind a stack of other tubs and what is worse I have looked down
to its last know position and it is not there. Now I gotta find this
monitor. I kid you not this computer has a mind of its own.

Even I don't know what I have got.

This is the Sanyo MBC-550 one of the very first clones of the
IBM PC. Released in 1982 and shipped with CP/M-86 in Japan.
Evidently the first MS-DOS based machine to sell for under a $1000.
Silver case which also is reflected in the keyboard, which doesn't
have an ALT key. Quite heavy and still looks pretty new.

Two 5.25" floppy drives are all you generally see from the front
of the unit making it look more like one of Sanyo's Hi-Fi stack
units. The computer uses the Intel 8088 running at 3.58 MHz.

I do have a couple of very large volumes of manuals including a
number of disks. These too are in storage.
