Mini Marvel

I was just about to buy a 3" disk version of Mini Office II
when I came across a copy in amongst my C64 collection. I
should add I was trying to use the software on the CPC464.
Sadly the software wouldn't work on the 464 but would work
on the 6128. I was then looking through the images on my
website for the Amstrad kit and noted a newer version of
the software. So late last night I was digging through my
plastic tubs and found the software in with my GEOS stuff.
Amazingly this copy did work on the CPC464 and I was so
chuffed.

Today I received a tape version of Mini Office II plus some
other database software. But, I have the DDI-1 set up on
3" so it won't now be necessary.

I am writing a small text based game on the CPC and it is
quite interesting that I save the main file on the 3" disc
and then I make an additional copy onto tape. On the tape
I am just giving sequential numbers and noting the tape
position by the numbers. Good tool that for back up. Saying
that at 2KB a shot I'm more likely to run out of disc before
I use up one side of a C30.

Old banged up box for Mini Office II
I have numerous copies of this for a
whole variety of machines.
