ScuzzBlog: Diaries April 2025 Entry 02nd April 2025: Post 1: Atari Falcon - A little neglected. Atari Falcon - A little neglected. It is never my intention to leave computers out in the cold and unloved, but with the Atari range of machines I have never really had the desire to power them up, as in truth it feels like I gotta unload all I know about the Amiga just to make some brain space to get the things working. This is especially true of the Falcon. The Atari Falcon is a jewel in the Atari portfolio of machines and does deserve some serious respect. However with the GEM style desktop and whole different way of doing things I just am never minded to give her the time. It has been well over a year since I last powered her up and I did sense that maybe I should make better effort to give this computer some bench time. Or not. Probably not. She was working and I wasn't that unhappy sticking her back on the shelf under the dust cover. After all I have way more fun things to do with my Amigas. And lets face it your never going to convince an Amiga enthusiast that it's worth wasting valuable Amiga time mucking around with an Atari ... no matter what is has under the hood. So back in your cage. Where was I. Atari Falcon - A little neglected.
