Turtle Power
Hi
Things folk did to play games. I have a three page hand written document
here 7 columns wide and 48 rows deep. That gives 7 x 48 x 3 = 1008
individual cells. In each is a handwritten four digit number giving over
4000 numbers. And these were the game codes for the Turtle game I
presume. Must have taken someone all night. Not sure I ever went to that
extreme. I recall sneaking into the copy room and trying to scan the odd
page from a game guide or book. The ones that were tricky were the shiny
numbers on the black page. Amount of times I found the PGA golf codes
stuffed by the side of computers.
' This game was cracked by Fairlight ' ... I mean what with their
address and phone number wasn't that a little stupid.
I was playing around with bootblocks yesterday and kept managing to
place them in such a way that it meant I couldn't progress any further
so had to reboot the Amiga Duh ! Great fun though.
