Iomega Ditto Max Drive

I had planned to include the Ditto in a feature I created regarding
the tape drive but kinda lost it. Anyway, as often happens I found
the drive lurking in the bottom of a box and so include it now.

The drive was released in the nineties and was sold off and later
discontinued as tape became obsolete. This unit is an external drive
which connects to the parallel port. It is incredibly slow I believe.
My experiences of tape was not a happy one. Not only did the back-ups
take like forever to process, the tape itself had to set itself up
before using and it was a tedious job getting anything off them.

I am quite a fan of Iomega having used their ZIP drives for a good
while. Saying that, the CD writer from them was nothing short of junk.
Not sure where the problem was, probably with me. There was non
buffering if I recall and the disk would just fall over during write.
Nero had the buffering and so I switched to an internal drive.

OK nothing heavy tonight... just some piccys for you to look at. I
have some serious gaming tonight so I gotta be quick. The guys in
Azeroth will not be too pleased if I'm late.

Because it's your stuff

Not sure how you can have a trademark on a line of words.. but hey

First though here is the ZIP Drive

I have any number of these. SCSI, Parallel
Internal drives for both PC and Amiga.

The very dreadful Iomega ZIP CD

Probably the worst thing I ever bought.
Scrub that. Windows 10 has to be the worst

OK time for those pics

Hope I didn't repeat anything
