Amiga Game - 5 4 3 2 1 Thunderbirds are GO.
I've given a few hints over the last few blogs of the impending
arrival of Thunderbirds. My goodness the sixties were a rich vein
of classic icons and Thunderbirds for me stands up there with the
best. I mean as kid who could not be mesmorised by a the endeavors
of a secret organisation with such magical bits of kit.
When the characters enter their ships they don't just walk to the
door, no. They are transported via a series of marble machine style
chutes. Incredible.
I have been on the look out for the game for the Amiga for some
while and have passed on several. I can buy the game for nearly
every other platform but I wanted an Amiga one. Sadly I still am
missing the poster, sticker and cassette tape, but hey. I couldn't
wait any longer.
I wasn't disappointed either. Don't care what the critics think this
is Jeff Tracy and his boys on a secret island. Magic.
Anyhoo I have the box art and disks and I can now try to collect
the rest of what was in the box. That is the joy of collecting.
Just FAB.
