Amiga Format Cover Disk 33 - Myth or a Hit.
Following a post on a well known Amiga forum there was a reply to
an image of some Amiga Format cover disks claiming that he was
responsible for one of the games on Cover Disk 33b. The disk was
part of two released with Issue 33 for April 1992. He was not
specific as to which, but given that nobody uses their real name
on the internet, I can understand why he wouldn't disclose his
identity.
Anyhoo I decided to hunt down the disks and name the authors. I
have no idea which game was his but from the assembled batch I
do sense that most were of the 'thumbs down' brigade, with maybe
the one firing on four cylinders. I have to say I did enjoy Vista
but then I have the software and know it well.
To those names .... Stand up when you hear your name:
Mike Ball for is portrayal of Retcha-Sketch.
Matt Evans for his part in Lemmings Help.
Peter Mason for his rendition of Biplanes.
Jon Creighton star of the very popular Duel.
Sadly System 3 couldn't be here tonight... or is that a Myth.
The backdrops and sets were provided by Virtual Reality Laboratories.
