ScuzzBlog: Diaries January 2026 Entry 11th January 2026: Post 1: Amiga Office - ANCO - Micro Text and Micro Base. Amiga Office - ANCO - Micro Text and Micro Base. Been a while since I added software to the collection and so have decided to acquire a number of titles. Today I feature the very wonderful Micro Text and Micro Base by ANCO. The software is dated 1988 and so sits deep in A500/A2000 territory. Both disks had a good selection of basic Workbench files for the era. Making them quite useful for the library. Included with the boxes was a sales receipt from 1989. Whether that was for both titles, not sure. I haven't found any other titles in the series so not sure if these were the only two created. I checked over the disks which were fine and copied them to the emulator. The software worked without fault and provided a pretty standard format for text editing and data base creation. Nothing special, but then nothing of a negative nature either. I do prefer to get the software in the original packaging. It just adds to the joy of seeing the software sitting on a shelf. Certainly a good find and one that I'm pretty pleased about. Anyhoo I have a number of titles stacked up and waiting and two others still in transit. Office software is my favorite for the Amiga as I generally love anything text based. Amiga Office - ANCO - Micro Text and Micro Base.
