Amiga Software - Oxxi - Presentation Master.
What a day for postie to leave my parcel by the door in the pouring
rain. A large cardboard box and remarkably survived undamaged.
Whilst the outer cardboard got wet the inner box was saved by some
plastic large bubbles spacing the box away from the outer wet
cardboard. I just didn't hear him knock the door.
Twas a good thing the box arrived safely as it was the quite rare
Oxxi Presentation Master. Why it has such a large box is a mystery.
Unless there was something else in the box. Maybe it was so you
put other stuff in with the package.
Presentation Master is a Presentation Authoring System for the
Amiga. A product closely involving AEGIS and developed by Gary
Bonham at Oxxi Inc in 1991. The software is designed for the
planning, compilation and display of whole presentations. The
application uses a graphical outlining system that provides for
speedy presentation handling processes.
There are a hefty 13 disks in the installation set, though I have
not tried the disks to see if they work. Included also is a very
thick manual and another smaller manual which can additionally be
used in SpectraColor. I am not minded to try this package out and
have simply placed on the Amiga shelves. I have never seen this
software before which sadly only features on one magazine in the EAB
Magazine Rack. Certainly a nice addition to the collection albeit
taking up far more shelf space than I had anticipated.
OK Just one more item to add to this office series and I shall do
that on Sunday. The book and disk arrived also today, though
postie was able to use the normal post box this time.
