ZX Spectrums +2 +48K
This is the older model of the +2 and is grey.
And very very dirty and dusty inside.
My goodness, just where had this been
used. Looks like a workshop. Yuk.
What a bloody mess.
A strange cube.
I have no idea.
A quick fly through with the buds.
That chips got a heat sink on it.
The cassette drive on this unit
is locked solid and not working.
Amazing... I just kept turning the
wheels and eventually it released
itself and started working. The things
been busted since I had it. Over ten years ago.
Time to fire up those Amazon women.
Spoiler alert.
Bombs out in the exact same position.
That is three ZX Spectrum +2's I've tried.
OK time to bring in the big guns.
And a proper tape recorder data thingy.
Stops at the usual location during loading.
And then carries on to the end.
On the Spectrum +2 you can hear
the loading noise but the process
has stopped. On the Spectrum 48K it
continues to load. How odd.
Amazing.. the females in the game look
just like the women on the front of the
cassette case. Incredible.
I'm blind as a bat... I know, I know in
the game they are using clubs not swords.
And as for Atic Atac...
Well that was always going to work
cus I play it all the time anyway.
Like I'm going to do now...
And synopsis or what ever... I think the
ZX Spectrums need their tape drives cleaning
and probably a tinker with loading using 48K
maybe and not The Loader. Or it's capacitors
or broken chip. Or the motherboard is busted.
or the keyboard is broken or something else.
What ever it is I'll eventually find out.
For now I'm off to play with my Amazon Women.
