I've been switching a computer on pretty much every day for over forty years. From the very first day I got my ZX81 I've been hooked into using a computer. It has never changed. During that long period I have used a number of machines and most are still functional to play with today. So yesterday when I fired up some of the beasts I carried the camera around and added a little snippet of their respective boot process. It is interesting to note that all that I have ever done on the computer started from that first simple burst of computer life. Like the heart starts beating , revealing endless possibilities. And so I share a quick video showing a snapshot of all those starts from ZX81 to Win10 and trust me from that simple boot spanning forty years I have adventured through so much.
