Entry 31st July 2026: Post 1: High Surface Temp.
High Surface Temp... The heat is on.
You probably have noticed I have been a touch quiet these last
few weeks. Sadly the temp has been close on 28 degrees C in here
for the last month and doesn't look like getting any better.
Disaster struck yesterday as I had hoped to post a quick note to
bring matters up to date and risked for the first time since the
6th July 2026 switching on the Win7 machine. I cannot believe my
bad luck as the machine refused to boot and simply cycled to a
shut down. Repair wouldn't work. I am so jinxed by the bloody
weather. I have purchased yet another graphics card in the hope
that that may solve matters, but I am not hopeful.
I have transferred a good number of site files from the main server
and have started building from another machine. Will take time.
Never mind. Soon be Christmas.
I have not really used any kit up here for three weeks. The PS5 is
idle and so no Stellar Blade. However I have been mucking around
with Ai generated art created around the story. Today I feature a
picture I created of the Orbital Colony of Mother Sphere which
encircles planet Earth. Bonkers notion but it will feature in the
new game Bloodrain. The idea being that the Andro-Eidos cyber droids
are building a new world above Earth and by the looks of it actually
abandoning Earth altogether. Let's hope it's not too hot up there.
In the image you can see the wire frame service nodes and modules
mapping out the future structures. Some of the pods are construction
platforms and storage modules. In the distance you can see a city
based module that has already expanded to house large communities.
The structures follow the infrastructure service grid mapped out to
fit within the main rings of the giant megastructure that is the
orbital colony of Mother Sphere.
Just as an aside I would comment that the worlds climate change
issues relate to the expansion of human kind in a bid to cover the
entire planet in heat generating tech and people. Without any desire
to curb that drive and ambition there is no hope for the planet. The
simple law of thermodynamics states that energy cannot be created
or destroyed it simply turns into heat and by nature cannot be
returned to a useful state of work.
Problem is that the solution is clear, but given the impact on the
aspirations of all individuals to enjoy the same standard of living
as the general populous, then without a drastic shift in the social
structure that relies on payment for services at its core, then
the spread of human destruction will persist unabated. In essence
we are fu**ed and nobody really gives a shit as long as they get
the same as everyone else. I sense the planet has had enough and is
about to turn on humans in a way that is quite unforgiving. When
you have lived as long as I and seen the dramatic changes is climate
over the decades you can but not conclude its getting worse, much
much faster.
