One of the perils of owning an Amiga 2000 is the possible damage to the motherboard caused by the dreaded barrel battery. So when I get a request to show where the battery is I thought I would answer with a visual aid. [ a photograph ]. The battery is the blue thing set on top of the green lush motherboard. Be afraid... very afraid. For that thing will kill the CPU slot. Hope that helps. It may seem odd that the Amiga 2000 had the double face plate for the floppies but generally only used one.
