Amiga World - What I would give for a time machine

I do enjoy watching YouTube videos about restoring and using the
older kit. Sadly though it tends to be all the same stuff. Even
the museum videos tend to dwell on the more popular computers.
For me I have always been as equally interested in the peripherals,
software and add-ons such as cards and the like. Unfortunately it
would appear that very little of the more obscure kit has made
it through to the average YouTube retro guy.

Whilst flicking through the pages of Amiga World I was taken by
just how much there was even for the humble A1000. I read so many
times on the forums about guys wanting hard drives and the like
for the Amiga 1000 and yet very little is discussed about much
of what I see in say Amiga World.

I was taken by the image of the time machine on the cover of one
of the mags and again so wished I could zap back in time to the
mid eighties and grab me a few obscure goodies. I guess I would
need to sell the house to buy the stuff, but hey it would be
just wonderful to be able to add to the collection such magical
time pieces of a past era.

Anyway here are just a random selection of adverts from that era
from three of the Amiga World magazines. I just had to put this
magazine collection away as I do find the kit so mouthwatering
and so frustrating that it is no longer available. Sad to think
that most of it finished up at the tip.
