I did a feature a few weeks ago about the emulators for the Amiga.
If you ever get bored of mucking around with the best OS ever
created, then why not trip over to Aminet and grab yourself a fist
full of emulators for the other platforms. In my experience the
C64 and Spectrum emulators are the best as there are just so many
games for them.
In addition to Aminet you can also find them on cover disks and
PD disks and CDs that find their way onto Ebay.
For me there is no substitute for the real thing as it's way easier
to do things on a proper machine. However, the files for these
things are so small and fire up in a fraction of a second on the
Amiga, they really are low maintenance.
If you are feeling particularly burnt out from your Amiga fun time
then I guess you could always try a more inferior platform, like
say the Mac, just so you can appreciate just what it is to actually
own an Amiga.
Anyhoo, have fun with what ever you emulate. And now I'm off to
enjoy a fully working version of the Amiga OS on a 1200. As you do !!
And more 'Heart of China !!' More on that later.
