Entry 29th March 2020: Post 01: Commodore 386SX-20 - Or should I say the keyboard.

Commodore 386SX-20 - Or should I say the keyboard.

OK I failed again to feature the computer I wanted cus it is lost
somewhere in storage. I checked my images of the area where she
sits and I couldn't even identify where the computer is. So I gave
up. For ages now I have been moving this keyboard from one place
to another with a view to reuniting with the Commodore PC. Sadly
it will have to wait.

Commodore did make PC compatible systems and the 386SX is one such
machine. Dates from between 1984-93 as far as I can tell. The
machine was working, though I did have to remove the battery. Since
then she has been locked away. Sad really.

As for the keyboard, I do love this style and arrangement. I so like
the function keys on the left and the Caps Lock key on its own at
bottom right. There must have been a label over the LED lights which
has long vanished. There looks to be some clip arrangement with the
back of the keyboard to connect or put away. Not sure.

I am led to believe that the computer was fitted with a 20MB hard
disk. If I could find the thing I could tell you. Maybe summer when
I can see better in the store area.

Similar styling to the A4000D. Interesting.
