ScuzzBlog: Diaries March 2023 Entry 16th March 2023: Post 1: King's Quest V - Graphics Adventure Game. King's Quest V - Graphics Adventure Game. Sierra [ Roberta Williams ] were classic adventure games creators. Their games spanned many disks and were probably the most immersive of any in this format. One such game in their many series was the game King's Quest. These date from 1980 - 2016 and follow the adventures of the Royal Family of Daventry. I counted over ten in the series of games and this is just the tip of a very big iceberg when considering all the written material about the adventures. I was a little wary about the title that I chose to dip into the pond with given that there seemed no reference to Amiga on the box or packaging. Only when flicking through the technical manual do you see the instructions for the Amiga. I have yet to launch into the game but will certainly be having a play. The game comes on eight disks so should be a relatively deep experience. I do hope so. I have skirted around this game so many times over the years, I thought it was about time I dived in. Anyhoo .. Absence makes the heart go yonder ! or so the box says. King's Quest V - Graphics Adventure Game.
