Amiga 2000 - Amy Amy Amy !!!!.

You would have to be a fan of Black Adder to appreciate the title
of this blog. In this instance it refers to Amy the Squirrel who
features heavily in all the animation and historical timelines
on the computer. There are literally folders of the stuff by
Eric W Schwartz and his beloved Amy. The person who owned this
computer had more than a passing interest for the works. There
are also endless folders filled with sections of animations and
even a timeline and history section.

The hard drive of the A2000 is a snapshot of a real Amiga enthusiast.
All of the folder icons are hand crafted and the software suggests
a very keen interest in pretty much everything Amiga. The second
drive was actually totally full.

From the drop down you can launch various pets that will crawl
across the screen and go to sleep. One was a ninja carrying a
flash light. I got so infected by the content of the drive I began
to get a little troubled about losing the content. So I shovelled
Parnet, CED and DOpus onto the computer and then connected to my
A4000d to copy over the drives. All complete now and so safe.

The games folder explodes with some of the best of the best Amiga
wise and yet more hours of fun for me.

I know not who you were Jane but just a big thanks, and sorry but
I just had to switch the computer off. She's safe though as is Amy.

And so to the contents of the drive, well just a snapshot really.

The A2000 known as Amy

How does anyone manage without DOPus

OK Installed and now to configure those drives

I can fire up the animations from DOPus now

Time to install Parnet

Next up CED

Parnet is now installed on the 2000

Over to the A4000d and check that
I have the network connected to the 2000

And there we have the 2000 volumes and drawers

All copied across... Amy is saved
