ScuzzBlog: Diaries September 2017 Entry 12th September 2017: Post: 2 The Humble Disk Box Just a disk box. A small plastic box to house floppy disks. There really was no need to be clever about the design or its functionality. The box just needed to be a box. Also as we move on the whole concept of a disk box to hold floppies is kinda redundant. And yet in its day this disk box wanted to be more than just a disk box. It wanted to celebrate the floppy and to make the accessing your most treasured data as pleasurable as possible. Seriously.. nobody would bother these days. It really does give good example of the love designers had with the platform back in the nineties.
