WHAT THE !! - Amiga Computing April 93.
Following on from my recent blog featuring Personal Finance
Manager I was aiming to include a copy of the cover disk from
the April edition of Amiga Computing, plus a round up of what was
hot for the Amiga in the day. I was also intending discussing a
problem with the A1200 which had surfaced with my new Amiga in
the day... and then... I came across this advert on the last few
pages of the magazine. There is very little information on what
exactly is being offered, and the advert listing just says that
it is from Online Entertainment. It is so unusual for an Amiga
magazine of the day and kinda shocked me a bit. Nice gun !!
Anyhoo the article I meant to feature was warning Amiga users
of a problem with the modulator. I actually had this problem
with my Desktop Dynamite pack and the people covering the
warranty simply came to the house and swapped the A1200 out.
Just that I am sure any number of faulty modulators went into
circulation and were never discovered. Just worth remembering.
Also on that page is an article about donations made to the
Red Nose campaign, which I thought was considerate.
A lot of Amigas for sale that month and of prices that are not
that much different from today.
I have included that copy of the cover disk for April 1993 of
Amiga Computing, together with ZIP files containing Bars and
Pipes, Fusion Paint, HiSoft BASIC, ImageFX and the PFM disk.
All are in ZIP files cus my website server refuses to recognise
the ADF format. Bonkers I know.
That was that for today. I'm still struggling to work out the
significance of the young lady with the gun. Answers on a post
card. Weird I have to say.
